Chaparral, Robalo award $24,000 in scholarships

NASHVILLE, Ga. – Chaparral Boats and Robalo Boats recently awarded $24,000 in college scholarships to four children of employees, according to a release from the company. The scholarships provide each recipient $6,000 in total toward their four-year education.
 
“We are proud to assist our employees as they manage the process of sending their children to college,” Jim Lane, President of Chaparral and Robalo, said in the release. “We take great pride in advanced education and want to support our employees and their families as they develop their unique individual career paths.”
 
Chaparral and Robalo have awarded more than $108,000 to the sons and daughters of employees since 1997. 
 
This year’s scholarship award recipients are:
 
Eric Exum – Berrien County High School
Leigh Hancock – Berrien County High School
Parker Nix – Cook County High School
Randy Kent – Berrien County High School
 
Jim Lane, Founder Buck Pegg and company staff congratulated each recipient and their parents during a luncheon in their honor on June 23.
