Fairline Boats opens new facility in Florida
FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — The new office location of Fairline Boats of North America (FBNA) was formerly opened yesterday by Derek Carter, chairman and managing director of the UK-based parent company, Fairline Boats plc., according to a statement from the company.
Alongside Vice President of FBNA, Jim Renfrow, Carter wished the company good luck and strong sales over the coming years and highlighted the range of new models that will be coming into the U.S. marketplace during 2004, the company reported.
The 2,300-square-foot premises features a waterfront facility with moorings and extended sales and support facilities for both Fairline customers and its U.S. dealers. It has been fully functional since June and hosted Fairline’s first U.S. based Global Sales Conference the summer, said the company.
“This move to Florida brings Fairline Boats to the boating capital of the world and will allow customers and dealers, who may be located in seasonal markets, year-round access to our range of boats,” said Carter. “The U.S. is our second largest market and the awareness of the luxury, quality, performance and essence of Fairline increases year on year. We are optimistic that 2004 will be a strong year for us…”
