Insurance agency acquires Customer One Financial
WESTBROOK Conn. – New England insurance agency Gowrie, Barden & Brett has acquired Customer One Financial of Old Saybrook, Conn., an originator of boat and RV financing, it reported in a recent statement.
“The opportunity to offer insurance and finance choices to our clients is something we have been looking to do for several years.” said Carter Gowrie, president of Gowrie, Barden & Brett.
“Our companies have known and worked professionally with one another for many years and we share the same passion for boating, RVing and our clients,” said Cathy Comstock, who will continue to serve as president of the finance division.
Gowrie, Barden and Brett and its affiliate companies Gowrie, Brett and Young, and Fisher & Fisher Associates provide general and specialty insurance and financial services to clients throughout the United States. Insurance Journal recently cited Gowrie Barden & Brett as one of the top independent property and casualty insurance agencies in the United States, the company said.
