Perko meets new ISO standards
MIAMI, Fla. — Marine accessory manufacturer Perko recently achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification, the company reported in a release.
“This is an important achievement for Perko,” said Perko President Fred Perkins. “By attaining the latest ISO 9001:2008 certification, we’re being recognized for our ongoing commitment to quality, customer satisfaction and innovation.”
Maintained by the International Organization for Standardization, ISO 9001:2008 certification specifies requirements for quality management, covering key business processes.
“Perko is taking the initiative to make this transition and achieve a higher standard of quality as early as possible,” the company stated, “even though the company’s ISO 9001:2000 certification was still valid through April 2010.”
