MarineMax Vacations will be celebrating its five-year anniversary in the British Virgin Islands Thursday.
Commencing operations with just 13 sailboats, MarineMax Vacations delivered its first charter in the British Virgin Islands on January 19, 2012. Since then, MarineMax Vacations has enjoyed growth each year and currently operates a fleet of more than 60 boats, including power catamarans, monohull sailboats, and sail catamarans from its base at Hodges Creek Marina.
More than 15,000 guests have vacationed with the company during its first five years operating in the British Virgin Islands. With the introduction of the only pure-bred power catamaran fleet in the market, MarineMax Vacations has attracted a large number of new travelers to the BVI, primarily power boaters.
“Our goal has been not only to raise the standard of the charter vacation experience in the British Virgin Islands, but to do so in conjunction with growing the local industry overall with the introduction of a first-time charter guest. Some of these new guests are now returning for their fourth charter vacation with us,” said Raul Bermudez, of MarineMax Vacations. “We are very excited to be celebrating five years of exceeding our goals as well as customer expectations and look forward to our continued growth worldwide.”
Bill McGill, chairman, president, and CEO, stated “MarineMax is passionate about exceeding our customer’s expectations and enhancing their passion for the boating lifestyle. MarineMax Vacations is another way we are able to help our customers enjoy the boating lifestyle and enhance their passion for it.”
MarineMax Vacations will be celebrating its 5th Anniversary throughout 2017 with two opportunities to win a free charter vacation and special savings on reservations made in 2017. Visit www.marinemaxvacations.com/5anniversary for more information.
