Sak Marine acquires Key Largo Sportfishing Boats
AMERICUS, Ga. – Key Largo Sportfishing Boats, a national boat manufacturer, is now under the ownership of Sak Marine, according to a release from the new owner.
The new ownership went into effect on June 21 with the goal to begin shipping 2012 models year units as soon as mid-August. Through Key Largo, Sak Marine will focus on producing 16- to 25-foot models at an inexpensive price, according to the release.
Based in Florence, Ala., Sak Marine owns and operates boat manufacturing brands that include Caravelle Powerboats, Interceptor Performance Boats and SeaHawk Sportfishing Boats.
