Astronaut visits Nautique
ORLANDO, Fla. — Nautique recently had a visit from Charles “Scorch” Hobaugh, a NASA space shuttle astronaut. Scorch is an avid water skier and longtime Nautique owner, according to a release from the company.
During Scorch’s visit to Nautique, he attended a luncheon with President/CEO Bill Yeargin, Team Nautique skier Chris Parrish and Chris’s father Mike. Afterward, he met with the product development team followed by a factory tour.
“It was an exciting day to have a visit from a Nautique customer like Scorch, who took the time to meet with our product development team, share his life experiences and tour our facility,” Yeargin said in the release.
