IBEX exhibitor registrations increase
CHICAGO – With four weeks to go until the 2010 International Boatbuilders’ Exhibition and Conference, the show has already surpassed last year’s exhibitor registration by 11 percent, according to show organizers.
There are 538 exhibitors confirmed to date and at least 70 first-time exhibitors, which organizers attribute to a slow resurgence of the boating industry as well as the show’s new central location in Louisville and additions to the show landscape.
“The increase in exhibitor participation is very encouraging and reaffirms that our decision to move the show to a more centralized, cost-effective location while adding several new components were the right steps for IBEX and the industry,” Thom Dammrich, president of show co-producer the National Marine Manufacturers Association, said in a release. “We’re committed to ensuring IBEX remains the must-attend event for the industry to learn, build business and grow profit.”
