Product-filled yacht garners interest at boat shows

NEWPORT, R.I. — Showtime, a restored motoryacht used as a floating marine products display, drew at least 3,000 visitors at five boats shows this year, according to a statement from Showtime’s owner, Jock West.

The boat features products from more than 30 manufacturers and suppliers and will continue to tour boat shows and other marine events during the winter and spring, the tour’s organizers said.

“From the many positive comments we received from visitors at the fall shows, it’s clear that Showtime is accomplishing what we had set out to do — to show the boating public what our industry is capable of,” West said.
