CHICAGO — Peters & May USA is reporting a significant increase in boat shipments last month over the preceding months. It shipped more than 350 boats in April, the company said in a release.
“While April is a busy month for vessels moving to the Mediterranean for the summer, the company has also seen significant increases in the Australian, Middle Eastern and Far Eastern markets,” the company said in the release.
Peters & May is headquartered in Chicago with a new branch office in Ft. Lauderdale.
“We don’t see the economy as a detriment to our business,” said David Holley, managing director at Peters & May. “Our volume is building.”
