MDRA welcomes nine new members
SEA ISLAND, Ga. – Nine new associate members were welcomed into the Marine Design Resource Alliance during the MDRA’s 12th Annual Creative Conference held at The Cloisters in Sea Island, Ga., recently, MDRA said in a release.
“This was a record-breaking conference in terms of attendance,” said Peter Granata, MDRA president. “In addition to the new associate members, we hosted several CEOs from boat builders who were also first-time attendees.”

MDRA’s Creative Conference brings together boat manufacturers and marine industry suppliers and their spouses for three days each spring for an infusion of creative ideas to help their respective companies grow and better the marine industry.
Keynote speakers Dr. Barry Asmus and Daniel Burrus presented insightful economic outlooks that put the current downturn in perspective, while offering a multitude of fresh approaches to gain market share, MDRA said.
The Cloisters at Sea Island will again serve as the host location for the 2009 Creative Conference, April 26-28.
