GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – For the second time in as many years, Michigan-based Fireboy-Xintex, an engine room fire suppression systems manufacturer, is expanding in the United Kingdom, the company said in a press release Wednesday.
Fireboy opened its first U.K. facility 11 months ago in Gosport, England. Continued growth in the European market has led the company to move into a larger facility in Dorset, England.
“To meet increasing demand and commitment from our European customers, our new Poole facility is larger and better positioned geographically,” said Larry Akins, CEO.
