Marine Mover – Albemarle president named to NMMA Board of Directors

EDENTON, NC – Albemarle Boats’ Owner and President Scotty Harrell Jr. has been named to the Board of Directors for the National Marine Manufacturers Association’s Boat Manufacturers Division, the company said in a recent press release.

A former member of the Independent Boat Builders Inc. Board of Directors, Harrell was elected for his second term at the NMMA’s Annual Board meeting held at IBEX. The term of service is two years with a recommended maximum of three consecutive terms.

“I am happy to accept the nomination,” Harrell said. “With the challenges of rising production costs and political policies working against the marine manufacturing industry, the NMMA is an important player in protecting both consumers and manufacturers.”
