U-Line makes three new appointments

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Ice maker and refrigerator manufacturer U-Line has recognized three new top executives, it reported in a statement today.

The company recently appointed Mark Russell to vice president of marketing, Paul Murphy to vice president of sales and Jennifer Uihlein Straszewski to executive vice president.

Russell has 10 years of experience in the appliance industry with research, brand management and marketing. At U-Line, he will focus on marketing initiatives including product R&D. He will also concentrate on overall strategic planning for the company.

Murphy has been with U-Line for 3 years, formerly as Western U.S. sales manager. His new responsibilities include executing U-Line’s marketing program, sales management and growth for the marine, RV and residential divisions.

With the company for 13 years, Jennifer Uihlein Straszewski is a third-generation member of the appliance manufacturer’s founding family. She will supervise sales, finance, operations and product R&D.

“The knowledge of the industry, enthusiasm and vision for the U-Line brand these executives possess make them true leaders,” said Phil Uihlein, U-Line president. “They are the future of our company.”
