Yamaha president meets with Sen. Ted Cruz
Yamaha Marine Group president Ben Speciale met with Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, during a recent campaign stop.
Cruz appeared in Cobb County, Ga., Friday as he campaigned for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination. Speciale and Cruz discussed issues affecting the U.S. marine industry including ethanol and fisheries access.
Yamaha also owns Kilgore, Texas-based Skeeter Boat Company. Yamaha Marine Group is part of a large coalition of conservation, industry and recreational fishing stakeholders that are engaged in the battle to protect recreational fishing.
