Sea Ray will premiere two new models at the upcoming Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, the company announced: the 400 Sundancer and 400 Fly.
Both models will be available for viewing at Sea Ray’s on-water display at the Bahia Mar Yachting Center, G/H Dock, alongside 10 other Sea Ray models.
“The new 400 Sundancer and 400 Fly represent a design approach focused on the customer experience, based on a deep understanding of how boaters interact with nature and with each other,” said Sea Ray President Tim Schiek. “Indoor space and outdoor space are used harmoniously in these beautiful new sport yachts. We’re excited to introduce them at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, a venue that draws customers from around the world.”
Sea Ray’s 400 Sundancer and 400 Fly are designed for daytime socializing as well as relaxing overnighting. An expansive salon on the main deck includes a convenient galley-up, making it perfect for entertaining, while huge windows fill the space with an abundance of natural light.
Below, the living area on each model opens on to two full-beam staterooms. Richer materials and finishes—from elegant hardwood floors to smooth solid surface countertops—enhance the aesthetics and comfort of all interior spaces. Aft, both sport yachts offer an optional hydraulic swim platform with innovative self-deploying boarding steps that allow for effortless interaction with the water.
“These sport yachts deliver signature Sea Ray style and performance,” Schiek said. “They’re the kind of boats that draw people to the water and make them want to stay out longer.”
Other Sea Ray models on display in Fort Lauderdale will include the 350 Sundancer, which gains a new standard hardtop for 2016; the 350 SLX, Sea Ray’s high-performance, high-luxury flagship sport boat; the 470 Sundancer, acclaimed for its sophisticated design and sociability; and the entire groundbreaking L-Class: the L590, L590 Fly, L650 and L650 Fly. In addition, the graceful 510 Sundancer, 510 Fly and 540 Sundancer will also be present and open to the viewing public.
Additional Sea Ray sport boat models will be on display at a MarineMax booth at the Broward County Convention Center, Booth 2016-A, featuring a variety of popular sport boats and sport cruisers including new Sundeck outboard and SPX models.
The boat show will kick off with an exclusive Sea Ray VIP event on Thursday night. At that event, Sea Ray will also make an exciting announcement introducing the all-new Sea Ray Owners Club (SROC), which will celebrate, connect and empower owners in a way that is unique in the marine industry. Details about the new SROC will be available throughout the show, including special giveaways for Sea Ray owners.
