Scout Boats honored as a top South Carolina company

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. – Scout Boats has been named a Roaring Twenties award recipient: one of the 20 best-performing large companies in South Carolina for 2015.

This statewide honor is presented annually by SC Biz News and recognizes the South Carolina’s best-performing small and large companies based on both dollar and percentage increases in revenue from 2013-2014. A profile of Scout Boats will be published in the winter issue of SCBIZ magazine. All winners will be honored on October 28 at the Marriott Columbia in Columbia, S.C.

In order to qualify for the Roaring Twenties designation, companies must have a physical presence in South Carolina and be a for-profit entity or a nonprofit organization (except for: government entities and charitable organizations, including 501(c)3 organizations. These types of nonprofits are not).

Scout builds sportfishing, fish ‘n ski, walk around, flats and bay boat models ranging from 17’ to 42’. Since its founding over 25 years ago, Scout Boat’s goal has been to manufacture the best-built boats in its distinctive sportfishing niches.
