Sea-Dog, ProMariner win NMDA Supplier of the Year Awards
ROSEMONT, Ill. — The National Marine Distributors Association (NMDA) has named Sea-Dog Line and ProMariner as recipients of its 2011 Supplier of the Year Awards.
The awards were announced during the NMDA’s annual Sales, Training, Education & Purchasing Conference. Receipents are chosen though an NMDA member vote.
Sea-Dog Line won for the seventh year in a row in the Platinum category. The Everett, Washington-based company is a leading supplier of over 5,500 marine dock, deck and rigging hardware items, 12-volt electrical/lighting and ventilation accessories. Runners-Up in this category were Blue Sea Systems (1st) and Tie Down Engineering (2nd).
ProMariner is a first-time winner in the Gold category. The Portsmouth, New Hampshire company has been in existence for more than 30 years providing marine products such as battery chargers, inverters, corrosion control products, etc. to boat builders and end users. Runners-Up in this category were IMMI/Boat Buckle (1st) and Gold Eagle Company (2nd).
Special Focus awards were also presented to Blue Sea Systems for Best All Around Packaging and Supply Chain Efficiency. Sea-Dog Line won for Marketing Philosophy.
