Springfield Marine announces joint venture
NIXA, Mo. — Springfield Marine, Inc. announces its joint venture with Modell Møbler A/S, a Norwegian marine seat and furniture manufacturer, to offer marine seating and seating hardware services from development to production, according to a recent press release from Springfield Marine.
The two companies will join efforts in product development, quality control, and sales and distribution. Modell Mobler will continue to produce at their facility in Norway. Springfield Marine will also have the ability to manufacture “Modell Mobler” seating at its Jiangsu, China factory for customers across the USA, Asia and Australia.
”This joint venture has strengthened our two companies and will benefit our customers across the globe with an expanded product selection of top quality products while serving the Nordic Countries with the professional representation of Modell Møbler A/S,” said Caroline Carnahan, chairman of Springfield Marine, in the release.
