BIA honors six with Lifetime Membership Award
CICERO, N.Y. — The Boating Industries Association of Upstate New York honored six members with a Lifetime Membership Award for over 60 years of service to Central New York boaters, according to a recent press release from the organization. Each winner represents a Central New York marina or marine associated businesses.
The recipients of the service award are Vern Conway, from Aero Marina, in Brewerton, N.Y., Ray Cooper, from Coopers Marina, in Baldwinsville, N.Y., Monk D’Agata, from Fremac Marine, in Lakeport, N.Y., Geordie Magee Sr., from Geordie Magee Canvas, in Brewerton, N.Y., Duane Chalk, previously from H. Chalk and Son, in Fisher’s Landing, N.Y., and Bud Reiter, from Reiter’s Marina, in Sandy Creek, N.Y.
Over 100 members attended the award ceremony.
