AERÉ acquires Bray Fenda-Sox
CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Inflatable-fender manufacturer AERÉ, has acquired the assets of UK-based Bray Fenda-Sox, AERÉ said in a release this week.
AERÉ is moving Fenda-Sox from the UK to the United States to centralize all manufacturing at one location. The company has already shipped the equipment and is currently in production at its headquarters in Coral Springs, Florida.
“Now customers can get everything they need for protecting boats from fenders to fender covers from one source,” said Gary Abernathy, AERÉ president. “The acquisition will also improve the supply chain and availability of Fenda-Sox products.”
AERÉ said it would continue to make all of the Fenda-Sox products by hand and to the highest possible quality, including fender, safety rail, guard rail, outboard, winch and dock covers. The company also said it is seeking additional distributors and representatives for its product lines.
