BRP to offer E-TEC buying incentives

STURTEVANT, Wis. – Bombardier Recreational Products will begin 2008 by offering a retail promotion for consumers who purchase any Evinrude E-TEC outboard engine, the company said in a release yesterday.

“We’ve made it even easier for consumers to own the new Evinrude E-TEC outboard they’ve been contemplating buying with three incredible incentives,” said Mike Kennedy, vice president, North American sales – BRP Outboard Engines. “Our low finance rate offered by GE Money Bank is highly competitive, aimed at helping consumers get out on the water and experience the difference E-TEC technology brings to boating.”

Consumers who purchase and take delivery of eligible engines from a participating U.S. dealer during the promotional period will receive the following benefits:

5-year factory backed limited warranty [3-year BRP factory warranty PLUS an additional 2-year B.E.S.T. (BRP Extended Service Terms) coverage]

Financing as low as 6.99 percent APR for up to 180 months on entire boat packages or loose engines purchased for repower

Free gas card up to $500 value (value varies depending on horsepower purchased).

The promotion is offered in the U.S. on consumer retail purchases between Jan. 1, 2008 and March 31, 2008 on new, unused model year 2004 through 2008 engines 40 horsepower and above.
