MTA offers incentives to boost MRAA attendance

OAK PARK, Ill. – The Twin Cities Metro Marine Dealers Association has put together an incentive package for their members to attend the MRAA Annual Convention, the Marine Retailers Association of America (MRAA) reported in a statement yesterday.

Gary Briggs of Minnetonka Marine revealed the plan to bring the MTA’s members to the November 8-10 MRAA Convention at the Stardust in Las Vegas, Nev.

“Twin Cities Metro Dealers Association will pay the registration fees and lodging costs for the first 12 of our members who sign up,” he stated. “Our association is small but we strongly back the efforts and objectives of MRAA.”

The Twin Cities Metro Dealers Association is challenging all other local, state and regional marine trades associations to establish a program similar to theirs to increase dealer attendance.

These individual efforts will bolster the “Challenge 1000” program, which is designed to drive 1,000 marine dealers to the MRAA Convention, according to the association.
