SEVERNA PARK, Md. – The National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA) recently handed out its annual product awards during its Annual Convention and Exposition, October 20-23 at The Registry Resort & Club in Naples, Fla., the association reported in a statement.
The NMEA product awards recognize excellence in design, performance and reliability in marine electronics products. The awards are selected by votes from marine electronics dealers, distributors and other industry professionals.
According to the rules, each active, non- manufacturer member of the NMEA and each NMEA- certified marine electronics technician are allowed to cast one vote. At this year's convention, there were 35 participating companies and a total of 118 nominated products, according to NMEA.
