Marine Concepts announces facility expansion, promotions

CAPE CORAL, Fla. – Composites tooling and parts manufacturer JRL Ventures/Marine Concepts, located in Cape Coral, recently announced the expansion of its facility to meet growing demand in the wind energy and recreational marine industries. Along with the growth of its facilities, JRL Ventures/Marine Concepts announced the promotion of three employees at its facilities.

Chris Hughes was promoted to Plant Manager for JRL Ventures/Marine Concepts. Hughes joined the company in May 2005 and was production manager for three years before his promotion to plant manager.

Jeff Chase was promoted to the position of Aerospace Simulator Manager (ASM) and will continue to manage the metrology department. He has more than 25 years in marine prototype development, and has been with JRL Ventures/Marine Concepts since March 2002. Prior to coming to the company, he held engineering management positions at Wellcraft and Toyota Marine.

Alan Goeschel was promoted to the position of CNC Mill and Program Manager. Alan brought 18 years of design engineering and manufacturing engineering experience before joining JRL Ventures in July of 2004.
