MRAA announces presidential search process
BOCA GRANDE, Fla. — Dave Foulkrod, chairman of the Marine Retailers Association of America, recently shed light on the process that will be used to select a new president for the association.
“The process will be extensive and thorough,” Foulkrod said in a release. “We will be looking nationwide for our new president.”
According to Foulkrod, all qualified and interested applicants may submit their resumes electronically to mraa@mraa.com. Applications will be accepted through the first quarter of this year. Applications will be reviewed beginning in early April and the selected candidates will be interviewed by late April. Selected candidates will appear before the MRAA Board for consideration at the spring board meeting.
“MRAA wants to have a new president hired by early in the third quarter,” said Foulkrod. “Our new President will then have time to work with President Keeter before he retires in December.”
The Marine Retailers Association of America is a national association representing the retail segment of the marine recreational industry.
