OAK PARK, Ill. – The Marine Retailers Association of America and the American Boat & Yacht Council are working together to offer all Marine Industry Certified Dealerships a variety of benefits, MRAA reported in a recent release.
ABYC has a strong desire to work with certified dealerships by making ABYC technical standards available to them, and NMMA Certified boats are being built to endorsed ABYC standards and then being sold by certified dealers, so that’s what they should be maintained and repaired to, MRAA wrote in its release.
“Simply put, it closes the loop between certified boats, trailers, dealerships and technicians,” said Skip Burdon, ABYC president.
In order to facilitate the process, MRAA and ABYC have worked to make these standards available to all MRAA Certified dealerships.
The benefits of this special offer will include:
“All interested certified dealerships will receive the above benefits free of charge by simply contacting MRAA,” said Phil Keeter, MRAA president.
The offer will be good until April 15, 2008. Dealerships wanting to participate should contact MRAA at email@example.com and ask for the special ABYC Program.
