Thetford/Norcold buys Wilcox Crittenden
ANN ARBOR, Mich. — Thetford/Norcold, supplier of sanitation and refrigeration equipment to the RV and leisure marine industries, has acquired Wilcox Crittenden of Middletown, R.I.
Wilcox Crittenden was founded in 1847 and manufactures and distributes a complete line of electric and manual marine sanitation systems along with specialized marine and industrial hardware including Aravon marine plumbing fixtures and Metalstyle lighting products.
Combining Wilcox Crittenden with Thetford/Norcold “provides synergies including a complete marine product offering, an expanded RV sanitation offering and extensive distribution channels,” said Mike Harris, president and CEO of Ann Arbor, Mich.-based Thetford/Norcold.
Terms of the transaction, which became effective Saturday, were not revealed.
