Freedom Boat Club expands National Franchise Marketing Advisory Council

Freedom Boat Club recently appointed eight franchise owners and operators to serve on its National Franchise Marketing Advisory Council, which was established in 2014.

Serving second-year terms are Scott Isaacks of Austin, Texas, Dan Hasbrouck of San Diego, Matt Carrick of Boston, and Lisa Almeida of St. Augustine and Jacksonville, Fla.

Newly appointed council members serving two-year terms through 2017 include Matt O’Hara of Lake George, N.Y., JoAnna Goldberg of Annapolis, Md., Karen Berry of the Grand Strand, S.C., and Carrie Raney of the Great Lakes, Ohio.

“We very much value the contributions of our National Franchise Marketing Council and have benefited tremendously from their active engagement with our corporate marketing team,” said Freedom Boat Club Chief Marketing Officer Wanda Kenton Smith. “Our inaugural council helped shape the content and overall design and direction of two new websites in 2015 and helped select our national charitable partner in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America organization, among many other contributions. We have expanded the size of the council to better reflect the geographic scope and growth of our franchise organization.”

The Franchise Marketing Council teleconferences quarterly, with ongoing communications on an as-need basis.

“We are very closely connected to our franchise family and appreciate their active engagement in the overall business activities,” added Freedom Boat Club CEO and President John Giglio. “The launch of our National Franchise Marketing Advisory Council last year, along with the establishment of our first 20 Group, has already had a major impact and delivered positive outcomes for the overall FBC organization.”
