Nautique team visits El Salvador for Nautique Cares initiative

ORLANDO, Fla. – This week, thirty Nautique employees traveled from Orlando, Florida to El Salvador and served as part of the Nautique Cares initiative.

During the trip the Nautique employees traveled to Ahuachapán, El Salvador, which is about two hours outside the country’s capital, San Salvador. The Nautique team built desks for a new CAD Design Center sponsored by Nautique, painted classroom desks and benches, provided and distributed clothing to needy children, provided and distributed food to hundreds of families, interacted with and encouraged students in a local school, and visited new mothers in a local maternity ward.

This is Nautique’s fourth trip to El Salvador as part of its Nautique Cares initiative. On previous trips the Nautique team has built classrooms, built a creative state-of-the-art reading center, and helped develop a state-of-the-art design center in partnership with Rhino Software that helps El Salvador students get computer certification.

Nautique, a subsidiary of Correct Craft, continues to expand the Nautique Cares initiative that is having a significant impact around the world. The Nautique Cares initiative started eight years ago and includes serving both our local community and taking employees on service trips around the world. Over the last several years Nautique employees have traveled to El Salvador, India, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Mexico and the Apache reservation in Arizona.
