Boating Industry Intelligence You Can Profit From
ORLANDO, Fla. — Malibu Boats was named the 2010 Water Sports Industry Manufacturer of the Year by the Water Sports Industry Association, according to a recent release from Malibu. Malibu Boats received with the award during the Wakeboarding Magazine Wake Awards on Sept. 10 at Surf Expo in Orlando, Fla.
WSIA honored water sports retailers and manufacturers with a variety of 2010 Leadership Awards for outstanding performance in advertising, promotions and branding.
“I would like to thank the industry’s retailers for this honor,” Paul Singer, vice president of sales and marketing for Malibu, said in the release. “It’s a great feeling to be recognized as an originator of cutting-edge products, especially by those who know water sports boats best.”
In addition, Malibu's Detroit dealership Skier’s Pier was recognized with the 2010 Water Sports Industry Best Promotion of the Year Award.
