Clean Seas changes direction

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Clean Seas Co. will cease production and sale of its marine foul release coatings, effective immediately, announced Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Warren P. Powers in a statement today.

“Our objective is to better focus resources on marketing our intellectual properties, which we believe have exciting applications in a wide range of markets,” Powers stated.

The company will continue to manufacture and market the Barnaclean Sonic Anti-Fouling System it has been selling worldwide since 1993, however. The sonic system emits low-frequency sound impulses that keep most fouling organisms from attaching to boats and is environmentally safe, the company stated.

Clean Seas Co. remains committed to promoting and developing environmentally responsible practices and products, according to the company.
