UK mentoring program pays off

LONDON – The British Marine Federation members enjoyed great success at MAATS following a two-year U.S. mentoring program offered by the BMF in conjunction with U.K. Trade and Investment and HomePort Marine Marketing, the BMF said in a recent release.

Two BMF companies in the program – EchoPilot and Barton Marine – collected awards for innovative new products introduced at the show.

“We are delighted with the success of the mentoring program and the progress achieved so far,” said Toby Allies, director of export at BMF. “For two of our delegate companies to win such prestigious awards is a fantastic achievement for them. This is just another step in ensuring our British companies, and their excellence, is recognized on an international scale.”
