Bass boat market holding its own
MIAMI – The strength of the bass boat market may be keeping the industry from dropping further, according to Info-Link, which has updated its Bellwether Report through July.
“Three of the biggest boating states, Florida, California and Michigan, have been a significant drag on the overall market numbers,” explained Jesse Wells, Info-Link director of sales & marketing. “One interesting thing we have noticed geographically is that the market is relatively flat in some key states such as NC, TN, AR, OK, MS and UT. A contributing factor may be that the bass boat market in particular seems to be holding its own in contrast to some other segments.”
