Groupe Beneteau Americas promotes Andy Lindsay, adds Phil Davidson

Groupe Beneteau Americas announced a promotion and a new hire at its Cadillac, Mich. operation.

The company announced the promotion of Andy Lindsay to the position of vice president of sales for Groupe Beneteau’s Cadillac operations. With his extensive background and product knowledge, Lindsay will take lead for sales of the Four Winns, Scarab Jet, Glastron and Wellcraft boat brands for the Americas.

Lindsay has participated in the company’s history since 1990 joining the company as a regional sales manager. Since then, Lindsay has held multiple positions of increased responsibility and leadership, serving as national sales manager for the United States and Canada and most recently, vice president of sales for the Four Winns and Scarab Jet boat brands.

“Throughout his career, Andy has been involved in all facets of the boat business having strategic input to sales, marketing and product development. He has been directly involved with all regions throughout the United States and Canada,” the company said in a statement. “His in-depth knowledge of the needs and concerns of the dealers across North America have served very well in the past and will continue to strengthen the company in its future.

Phil Davidson has joined the team as the director of dealer development for Four Winns, Scarab Jet, Glastron and Wellcraft. Davidson will be based out of Groupe Beneteau’s operations in Cadillac, Mich. where the U.S. brands are manufactured.

Davidson has an extensive background in the marine industry and in-depth brand knowledge that Gorup Beneteau expects to transfer into the sustained success of its brands and dealers.

“Throughout his career, Phil has been involved in multiple areas of the boating business utilizing his expertise within corporate and consumer communications, product training and product development,” said the company in a statement. “In his new role, Phil will be responsible for channel management, dealer on-boarding, sales and product training, as well as inventory floor plan management. His intimate knowledge of our products will aid the needs and concerns of our dealers across the world and will continue to strengthen the company in its future.”

Davidson will be working with Groupe Beneteau’s regional sales managers, management team and the Four Winns, Scarab Jet, Glastron and Wellcraft dealer organizations in the United States and Canada. He can be reached at 231-775-1351.
