Ranger Boats introduces 2350 Bay Ranger

FLIPPIN, Ark. – Ranger Boats introduced the 2350 Bay Ranger at the Miami International Boat Show and will showcase the boat at the Mobile Boat Show, Feb. 19-21, inside the Mobile Convention Center in Mobile, Ala.

This year’s Ranger booth is held in conjunction with local Ranger dealer. The 220 Bahia, as well as the 2310 and 2510 Bay Rangers will also be on display.

The 2350 Bay Ranger measures 23 feet, 5 inches and is rated for 300 horsepower. The new boat combines the characteristics of a saltwater fishing platform with family-friendly features.

Ranger Boats says the 2350 Bay Ranger is able to draft in as little as 13 inches of water and sports a 102-inch beam. Like all Ranger models, the 2350 Bay Ranger is available with a range of factory-rigged outboards.

“There’s a lot of work that goes into a totally new design like this, and the feedback we’ve received so far has been incredible,” said Ranger Boats Saltwater Business Development Manager Larry Jett. “It’s extremely comfortable, has more features and delivers more versatility than any other boat in its class. There’s nothing like it on the market; definitely nothing this plush – it’s the best crossover sport/fish utility boat there is.”

The 2350 Bay Ranger’s fishing features include an insulated, 120-quart cooler functions as the front deck step with an oversized fish box built into the starboard side of the deck; a large front casting deck; and an integrated rope/anchor storage and pedestal seat mount. An LED-lighted, 30-gallon baitwell is located beneath the helm’s two leaning post seats. Stand-up rod storage is available on the leaning post and at the rear of the powder-coated hardtop, which comes standard. The 2350 Bay Ranger is equipped with an 81-gallon fuel tank.

Beneath the skid-resistant front deck, the portside rod storage features a lined, gel-coated interior that is linked to Ranger’s patented Power Ventilation Rod Storage (PVRS) System, which circulates air from a blower to help dry out tackle and equipment after a busy day on the water. With room for rods up to 9 feet long, the rod storage also features built-in LED lighting.

Additional features include a hydraulic jack plate, LED navigation lights at the bow, LED cockpit lighting, underwater LED lighting for swimming, attracting bait and enhanced on-the-run aesthetics; non-skid swim platform with ladder, trim tabs, LED-illuminated cup holders throughout and a step-in bathroom unit forward of the console. Other standard features include an enclosed transom, wood grain accents and hydraulic steering.

At the stern, the 2350 features a sofa-style bench seat with seating for up to four passengers. Additional front deck seating can be found on the port and starboard sides with cushioned padding and removable backrests. Additional seating for one can also be found forward of the console. A Bluetooth-ready Infinity sound system is also built into the 2350 Bay Ranger, with four speakers integrated into the bolsters and four more built into the hard top.

“One of the beauties of inshore and near shore angling is the variety of opportunities to catch so many different fish in so many different places. Shallow water, big, open passes – you shouldn’t be limited to how and where you fish because of your boat,” Jett said. “As a result, the 2350 Bay Ranger is designed for unmatched fishability. But it’s the attention to family-friendly features that put this do-it-all dream rig in a category all its own.”

The 2350 Bay Ranger comes paired with its own custom-built, tandem-axle Ranger Trail trailer. Equipped with stainless steel fenders and built on-site to ensure the perfect fit, the Ranger Trail trailer includes an aluminum frame, torsion axle suspension, locking, swing-away tongue, LED lights, aluminum wheels, retractable tie downs, a patented center swing jack stand, and Ranger’s COOL Hub lubrication system as standard equipment.

On top of its product displays, Ranger is offering buyers of qualifying saltwater boats the “2016 Saltwater Series” retail sales promotion, which offers up to $4,500 in incentives. Buyers of qualifying models will have their choice of up to two Power Pole 8-foot blades or a $2,000 cash discount in addition to a $100 Ranger Clothing and Accessory credit.
