Marine Mover – Yamaha Marine hires new OEC regional application engineer
KENNESAW, Ga. – Bill Craft of Murfreesboro, Tenn., has joined the OEM Division of Yamaha Marine as an OEM regional application engineer, according to OEM Technical Support Manager Chuck Butler.
Craft’s experience in the marine industry includes serving as engineering manager, director of customer service and production engineer for several marine manufacturers, the company reported in a recent statement.
As OEM regional application engineer, Craft will work with OEM boat builder accounts on Yamaha engine and component installation training and testing.
“Bill’s vast experience in the marine industry will make him a valuable asset to Yamaha as well as to our customers,” Butler said.
Craft has completed extensive marine-related technical training with several manufacturers including Yamaha. He also studied business at the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga.
