Cruisers Yachts signs on new marketing firm
OCONTO, Wis. – Cruisers Yachts, a manufacturer of luxury yachts, has selected BVK, a fully integrated marketing communications firm in Milwaukee, as agency of record, the company reported in a statement yesterday.
Cruisers Yachts said it selected BVK for its broad range of marketing expertise, including the agency’s sophisticated approach to direct marketing.
The campaign will consist of strategic planning, advertising, public relations, promotions, market research, media planning, sales promotion, customer relationship marketing and Hispanic marketing with an initial focus on the launch of the company’s 500 Express yacht at the Miami International Boat Show in February.
“We found the ideas BVK presented in conjunction with the launch of our 500 Express yacht to be innovative and right on target,” said Rick Jelinski, general manager at Cruisers Yachts. We also felt their depth of knowledge and solid resources in marine, recreation and leisure marketing weighed to their advantage.” BVK has more than 30 years of experience in the travel, recreation and leisure industries.
“Cruisers Yachts said they were searching for an agency that could take them to the next level,” said Michael Voss, president of BVK. “We will help them achieve that goal utilizing our non-traditional marketing communication strategies and direct marketing expertise.”
Headquartered in Oconto, Wis., Cruisers Yachts is part of KCS International, Inc., which includes sister company Rampage Sport Fishing Yachts and Shamrock Sport Fishing Boats. Cruisers Yachts produces 15 models from 28 to 54 feet in its Oconto facility as well as its new boat building operation in Wilmington, N.C.
