Marine Mover: KVH names new Satellite Products VP

MIDDLETOWN, R.I. – KVH Industries, Inc., has named Jeff Greer to the position of vice president of operations, Satellite Products, it reported in a recent statement. Greer will be responsible for manufacturing and operations at the company’s two facilities in Middletown, R. I.

Greer joins KVH with 26 years of domestic and international experience in manufacturing of performance-engineered products as well as supply chain management and quality assurance.

Most recently, he served as the president and CEO of Alden Products Co., a Massachusetts-based manufacturer of high-voltage components for OEM devices. While with Alden, he oversaw a period of continuous growth in both sales and profits, according to the company.

Greer has a BA from Grove City College and an MA from Boston University.

“The future for satellite products is very exciting. Use of satellite telephone, Internet, and satellite television continues to grow aboard ships, recreational vehicles, and automobiles,” Greer said. “KVH is now in the process of expanding and refining its manufacturing operation in anticipation of future demand.”
