1. Drew Industries buys Signature Seating

Roehm Marine LLC, which does business as Signature Seating in Fort Wayne, Ind., has been acquired by Drew Industries, an Indiana-based supplier of RV and manufactured home components.

Drew Industries paid $16 million for Signature Seating, which will be under the company’s Lippert Components subsidiary. The company plans to keep its facility and employees in Fort Wayne.

2. Sunseeker CEO: Company will stay in UK

Sunseeker will continue to build its boats in the United Kingdom despite its 2013 purchase by a Chinese investment firm, the company’s CEO says.

The company is not planning to build anywhere else “at the moment,” Phil Popham told the Daily Echo.

“That might change in the future but the heart of the business will remain in Dorset because that’s so important to our history and the reason why we’re a unique selling proposition in the eyes of our customers,” he said.

3. Analysts offer mixed opinions on MarineMax

Stock market analysts are split on the future for MarineMax. Longbow Research upgraded the stock to a “buy” Tuesday.

That follows a move by Zacks last week to rate the stock as a “strong sell” from “hold.”
