Premier Plastics adds sales manager
HOYT LAKES, Minn. – Premier Plastics recently hired Steve Swenson as its sales manager, according to a release from the company.
Swenson brings more than two decades of powersports and marine sales and service experience with him, having most recently worked as the account manager for Polaris at Lubrication Technologies Inc. Swenson will head up sales for Premier Plastics, a leader in rotational molding and vacuum forming of plastic products, most notably in the powersports and marine industry.
“Premier Plastics continues to grow and the need for an experienced sales person who could look after the needs of our clients was critical,” Premier Plastics President Bob Menne said in the release. “I have worked with Steve in the past and when we made the decision to hire a new sales manager he was at the top of my list. We’re happy to have him on board as part of the Premier Plastics team and we look forward to future growth with Steve as one of our leaders in that area.”
Swenson graduated from the University of Minnesota at Duluth in 1990 and went on to work for Yamaha Motor in California. Since then, Swenson has worked as a regional sales manager for Yamaha, served in Polaris International Service and Polaris Accessories division and worked at Premier Pontoons. Most recently, Swenson served as the Polaris account manager at Lubrication Technologies Inc. In all, Swenson has 21 years of experience in the powersports and marine industries.
