Yamaha Marine reveals promotions, organizational changes

KENNESAW, Ga. — Yamaha Marine Group has promoted three employees to division manager positions. The new managers are Bob Popiel, Mark Tracy and Kyle Rippe.

Prior to this promotion, Popiel was the assistant division manager of Marine Service. He’s worked for Yamaha since December 2005. In this new role, he will lead the entire Marine Service department.

Tracy, formerly the assistant division manager of Marine OEM Sales, has been with Yamaha for 12 years. As division manager of Marine OEM Sales, Tracy is responsible for overseeing all OEM sales, technical and tournament support functions.

Rippe, with 14 years at Yamaha, was most recently assistant division manager of Marine Finance and Accounting. As division manager, Marine Finance and Accounting, Rippe’s responsibilities include communication and direction of the group’s internal financial objectives. He is also charged with increasing the financial transparency of Yamaha’s offsite subsidiaries and overseeing all of the company’s forward-looking financial compilations.

Other promotions include Adam Hall, formerly assistant regional manager of OEM Sales, to Regional Manager. He will manage OEM accounts in Georigia, Tennessee, the Carolinas and New England.

David Meeler, former Product Marketing Information Manager, has accepted a position in Yamaha’s new Propeller Department as Propeller Specialist. Meeler’s responsibilities will include marketing, analysis, development and training for all Yamaha propeller brands.
