Cummins Onan adds staff

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — Cummins Onan has filled three technical and managerial positions within the company’s marine division.

Neil Phelps is the new marine business development manager for the Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) region, where he will be responsible for identifying business opportunities and sales channels to support revenue growth. Phelps served in the Royal Navy for 14 years, and then for UK shipbuilders Vosper Thornycroft and Berthon Boat Company. He has extensive experience in Cummins Onan products for all consumer marine markets.

Noah Cotton has accepted the position of marine application engineer. In this role, he will be responsible for enhancing the customer’s experience by ensuring proper installation and application of Cummins Onan marine generators. Cotton’s technical expertise will be instrumental in supporting Voice of the Customer (VOC) programs, interpreting customer requirements and accurately communicating them to design teams. Cotton comes to Onan from the RV business.

Ming Han is the new marine marketing manager in the Consumer business. In
this role, Han will be responsible for developing the marine marketing annual plan for the Cummins Onan Marine business, working with the product manager, business development managers and regional sales offices. Han joined Cummins Power Generation in 2008 and gained experience in global market intelligence and analyzing market trends.
