Yamaha selects Burns and Mallett for supply chain roles

KENNESAW, Ga. — Yamaha Marine Group announced Jonathon Burns as department manager of marine business planning and marine/outboards supply chain operations, and the appointment of Ben Mallett as supervisor of marine/outboard supply chain operations, according to a recent release from Yamaha.

Burns will report to Dean Burnett, vice president of Yamaha Marine Group. Mallett will report to Burns.

“As we move forward in this market, it is important to have the right product in the right place at the right time,” said Burnett in the release. “These appointments are critical in assuring continued good service to our customers.”

Burns will be responsible for both business planning and supply chain management. He began his career at Yamaha in 2004 as a market analyst coordinator.

Mallett will oversee a team of account associates who fill orders placed by both dealers and boat builders. He began his career at Yamaha Marine Group in 2006 as southeast regional sales coordinator in which he worked closely with dealers.
