Kennebunkport, Maine — The Landing School named Robert DeColfmacker as interim president, according to a recent press release.
In his new position, DeColfmacker will focus on overseeing the internal operations of the school from student recruitment and services to accreditation and financial aid.
“We are thrilled to find a candidate of Bob DeColfmacker’s terrific talent, experience, and positive energy to come to The Landing School as we are adding resources for the next stage of growth and maturity,” said Peter Worrell, chair of the Landing School’s board of trustees, in the release.
“I am honored to be selected by the board for this position at this time,” DeColfmacker added. “The Landing School’s excellent name and reputation, its passionate faculty and staff, and its future opportunities make it clear to me that it is a national leader in career education in its chosen field.”
DeColfmacker has served as a faculty member, administrator, college president, and consultant in career-oriented education organizations throughout his career. He also served as a member of The Landing School’s board of trustees in 2008.
