Motorcycle road trip to be held post-MDCE
ORLANDO, Fla. – A group of marine professionals attending the Marine Dealer Conference & Expo in Orlando has organized the “Boaters & Bikers Road Trip to the Keys,” slated for Oct. 19–21.
The event, which is open to any member of the marine industry community and their friends, includes a fast-paced weekend motorcycle road trip from Orlando to Key West, Fla.
According to event organizer and Regal Vice President of Sales and Marketing Duffy Stenger, it’s an opportunity to relax, ride and have fun while enjoying great camaraderie.
“Several of us have been talking about doing this for awhile, so we figured this was the perfect time to get away and we wanted to invite others who share our passion for boating and biking to join us for the fun,” said Stenger.
Plans include a local Orlando ride on Thursday evening, Nov. 18, with trip departure scheduled for 8:45 am Friday, from Regal’s World Headquarters. The group will ride south through the Everglades and spend the night at the Miccosukee Resort and Gaming in West Miami, with departure scheduled for 9 am Saturday for Key West. Sunday is an optional return day to Orlando, or riders can extend their stay, or explore other Florida destinations.
“We’ve built in as much flexibility as possible and have secured great hotel rates and motorcycle rental rates,” said Stenger. “We hope to have a good crowd and look forward to having a great time!”
