IRVINE, Calif. – Marine satellite antenna manufacturer Intellian has hired Paul Comyns as vice president of global marketing, according to a release from the company. In his new role, Comyns will drive worldwide awareness, messaging and positioning for Intellian and its satellite TV, VSAT communication and Fleetbroadband antennas.
“We are very pleased to have Paul as a member of the Intellian team,” Intellian President Eric Sung said in the release. “With over two decades of worldwide marine marketing experience in both the recreational and commercial market segments, he is primed to leverage our tremendous growth over the last few years and elevate the Intellian brand to a whole new level.”
Comyns has more than 25 years of marketing experience, spanning three different countries, in the marine electronics industry. Prior to joining Intellian, he served in marketing roles for PYI, Navico (Simrad and B&G) and Robertson. Comyns is based in Seattle, Wash., where he lives with his wife and three children.
