US Sailing adds Jack Gierhart as executive director
PORTSMOUTH, R.I. — US Sailing has named Jack Gierhart as its acting executive director. Gierhart has served as the associate executive director of US Sailing since November of 2009, and previously served as a marketing director from 2002 to 2005.
Since 2009, Gierhart has been focused on growing the organization’s membership base and improving the overall information technology infrastructure, content management and outgoing communications initiatives.
Gary Jobson, president of US Sailing, commented in a recent release from the company, “Jack has done an excellent job with our membership and IT programs over the past year. The board of directors at US Sailing looks forward to working with him.”
Gierhart brings over 20 years of sales, marketing, and general management experience in the technology and marine industries.
