Four Winns appoints new sales and marketing VP

CADILLAC, Mich. – Jeff Brunson has been named to the position of vice president, North American sales and marketing, for Four Winns, according to a release from Rec Boat Holdings, which manages the Four Winns, Glastron and Wellcraft brands.

“I am very excited to have Jeff join the team at Rec Boat Holdings to help us grow our business,” Roch Lambert, group president of Rec Boat Holdings, said in the release. “Four Winns has enjoyed a leadership position in the marine industry for years and Jeff will lead many strategic initiatives to ensure that position for the future.”

Brunson spent 15 years at Bombardier Recreational Products, where he managed sales teams and sales administration functions. He was a key player at the company during the rebirth of Evinrude following the bankruptcy of OMC in 2000 and was most recently vice president, sales and marketing, at Cruisers Yachts.

On July 8, Jeff Olson, former president of Four Winns, and Rick Fulmer, former vice president of sales and marketing, were dismissed in a move Lambert said was designed to align the size of the organization with the reality of the business and to create a structure with fewer levels in it.

Four Winns is currently preparing the launch of its 2011 model year line up through a series of regional dealer meetings being conducted this fall. The company manufactures 30 models ranging in size from 18-49 feet and sells through a worldwide network of dealers and distributors.
