COLUMBUS, Ohio — Following the retirement of its founders, Ed Harmon and Jim Ranney, Spartan Logistics announced that Ed's son Steve Harmon will assume the role of managing director of the warehouse and distribution company.
“My father founded Spartan in 1988, and has been an outstanding leader in the community, to our customers and to our employees ever since. His vision and drive built Spartan into a top warehouse and distribution company in Ohio,” Harmon said in a release. “I am honored to come in to this leadership position and continue serving our company, customers and employees."
Ed Harmon will continue as chairman of the board of directors.
